Apollo Beach 2012 Real Estate Review
*2012 sales in Apollo Beach were up 31% over 2011.
*2012 prices were up by 5% in Apollo Beach.
*There are presently 192 homes for sale.

The Market Has Turned! 
     2012 saw a 5% increase in the average sales price in Apollo Beach, and sales were up 31%.  Of course, this confirms the turn-around that we have seen throughout the Tampa area in the housing market.  Another positive factor is the reduction in the listing inventory.  Apollo Beach only has 192 homes for sale at this time compared with 223 homes in January of last year and 345 homes for sale in January of 2010.   
     With an average of 46 sales per month, that gives us a present inventory of just over 4 months, which is the lowest in more than 5 years.
     As per the chart below, you can see that Hillsborough County had a 9% increase in sales with a 13% increase in the average sales price, which is not as much as Apollo Beach.
